Laminated Safety Glass

Laminated glass is an assembly of two or more panes of glass bonded together with one or more interlayers of PVB film. The number of sheets and interlayers determines the level of protection against accidents, burglary, bullet proof and explosion resistance. The PVB film also protects against UV radiation and reduces the discoloration of items inside a building.

When special PVB film is applied, laminated glass can contribute considerably to acoustic insulation without losing its safety properties. This type of glass provides custom made solutions for interior and exterior application in monolithic and insulated glass.
